The First Germ was held last night at Windsong Productions and it was a resounding success. La Elegante Taco Truck, no-host bar and a ton of creative people watching some creative movies made right here in our incredibly creative community. We had 15 films and more than 150 people in the Windsong Productions studio to view the First Germ. The inspiration was “Red” and our filmmakers were given the limiters of not including the color red in their film and keeping the films to a maximum of three minutes. And they delivered.
15 incredibly different films from 15 incredibly creative minds. It was great to see the turn out of such a diverse group of people. In many ways, it’s what Windsong Productions is all about: telling stories. We were lucky to have some awesome stories told at our studio last night. And the next Germ has been released. Go to thegerm.org to learn more and to see the entries that were created for the last Germ.
Here’s some photos from the event to inspire you to make your own Germ film or, at the very least, come hang out with us on April 26th when we do it all over again.
Peace. Peace indeed.
